Detroit— The American Civil Liberties Union and the ACLU of Michigan said today they have sent a letter to a Wayne County high school demanding that officials stop censoring Internet content geared toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students.
A letter was sent to school officials at John Glenn High School in the Wayne-Westland Community Schools after a student complained that he couldn’t access a website to get activity ideas for the school’s gay-straight alliance club….
