Internet censorship is not limited to China, Libya, Egypt and the Middle East. We can now welcome the censorship of personal freedoms here in the USA.
On April 15, the Department of Justice and the FBI seized the domain names for the three biggest online poker sites, along with around 70 other Internet businesses. They did this claiming these sites were in violation of Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act, a very ambiguously written law that was passed in 2006 and attached to the Safe Ports Act, even though UIGEA has nothing to do with preventing terrorism or protecting our ports…
